Persistent identifiers for degree-awarding institutions in 15 countries

Checking a qualification starts with confirming the institution that issued it ¹. The Research Organization Registry gives each research and education organisation a persistent identifier, with its official name, location, founding year and website ¹. This table lists active education organisations in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania from the ROR API on 7 November 2026 ². A ROR record confirms that an institution exists. It does not confirm accreditation, which is held by each national authority.
